How to get to Agios Prokopios from Naxos Town
Located just 5 km from Naxos Chora, Agios Prokopios is one of the most easily accessible and popular choices for visitors staying in the capital. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes by car or bus.
By Bus: The most affordable way to travel is via Naxos Public Buses (KTEL), departing from the main station at Chora port. During the summer season, buses run every 30 minutes, stopping right at the beach entrance.
By Car or Scooter: The route is simple and passes by the island’s airport. There is public parking near the beach, though it can get crowded during peak months like July and August.
On Foot: For hiking enthusiasts, the walk from Chora takes about 45-60 minutes, following the coastal road through Agios Georgios and Stelida.
